We are seeking an intern to assist with content development for our 2021 Environmental Education Virtual Field Day Event. The Environmental Communications Intern will be responsible for filming, producing videos, and composing advertising materials for the virtual field day event. In addition to distributing the content to local school districts.

We are seeking a motivated intern to assist presenters with the Virtual Environmental Education Field Day presentations. The intern would work with each presenter and assist them with designing their presentation, in addition to ensuring presenters have all the necessary tools to successful give their presentation.

Seeking assistance with drainage infiltration tests for rain gardens. Would coordinate with DSWCD staff and participating homeowners to verify the date(s) for the drainage tests and exact location. At each rain garden site, two drainage holes would be dug 12” deep in the approximate rain garden location. Fill with water, and monitor every 24 hours for 3 days or until dry. Take photos during each visit. Share results with DSWCD staff. Buddy system for interns required.
