Summer camp STEM Instructors are responsible for creating and teaching hands-on interactive lesson plans and acitivites for camp students. Instructors' core responsibilities are to plan and conduct their lesson, labs, and acitivites, within our guidelines, to monitor and evaluate the progress of each of their students, and to supervise an instructional assistant. Instructors will create and lead a 45-60 minute STEM lab/activity each day of camp to three small groups (15-18) of campers. 

Teaching Associates work closely with Instructors to assist with STEM labs and activities, in addition to designing and leading their own small group activites for campers. The core responsibilities of teaching associates (TAs) are preparing for and cleaning up after labs/activities, assisting with general administrative tasks, supervising campers, and generally helping to ensure that the camp runs smoothly.

Camp Counselors work closely with Instructors and Teaching Associates to ensure the camp runs smoothly. The core responsibilities of camp counselors are to supervise campers during "free-play" and group acitivits, assit with preparing for and cleaning up after labs/activities, and working to enforce COVID-19 safety protocol among campers. In general, Camp Counselors are responsible for the overall supervision of campers with the aim of providing a healthy, safe and enjoyable camp environment and experience.
